Looking for an event space near Golden to host a small but unforgettable event?
Here at The Lazy Elk we love nothing more than making people's dreams come true. That's why we'd love to help you realise your dream elopement, intimate wedding ceremony, engagement celebration, special birthday, anniversary, hen or stag do. Whatever your event we would love to hear from you. Please contact us first before booking if you're hoping to use the Lodge to host an event so that we can understand your needs and expectations. Please note the lodge isn't suitable for hosting large events, we can host a maximum of 25 daytime / evening guests and 8 overnight guests.

"The lodge is situated on a beautiful, secluded piece of land with trails to explore. Our first reaction when we opened the door to the main living room was.. WOW!! We immediately felt welcomed and at home, from the exposed wooden beams, to the gorgeous kitchen, to the wooden stove and pool table in the basement... and the views!! Enjoy a quiet night in the hot tub, soaking in the beautiful views of the mountains as the sun sets. Charlotte and Andrew have really taken such good care of the lodge and it shows in all the details. Not to mention, they were spectacular hosts. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort was the #1 priority. We are so happy to have stayed here for our elopement and definitely plan on coming back."

"My group of six loved our stay for a week at this cozy, secluded and lush property. The lodge is in the perfect location and exceeded all expectations! very clean, andrew & Charlotte communicate fast, and the pictures only tell half the story!
My fiancé & I came out to elope in the mountains with our best friends, intending to find a trail or lookout for a small ceremony. However, After arriving on the property, we realized there was no other place like this! It’s breathtaking - Andrew & Charlotte jumped at the chance to help us make it possible.
