Room for every generation near Golden, BC

Looking for a family cabin rental near Golden BC? Bring the whole family together under one roof: a private 4-bedroom log home on 16 acres, with space for up to 8 guests, a big shared living area for meals and games, and quiet corners when everyone needs a breather.

Space for everyone

The home spans three floors, which makes it easy to give each generation its own space.

  • Lower floor (main entrance): two bedrooms (a king that converts to twins, and a queen), a bathroom with walk-in shower, and the games room with pool table, TV and wood stove. A natural kids’ and teens’ zone.
  • Main floor: the open living room with mountain views, a fully stocked kitchen, dining for 8, a pellet stove and a bathroom with a soaking tub.
  • Top floor: the master king bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with rainfall shower, plus the Grey Room (queen).

Good to know for older guests

The main entrance is at ground level on the lower floor, and the three floors are connected by two flights of stairs. The main living space is on the middle floor, which you can also reach from the patio entrance up a short set of outdoor steps.

There are handrails on every staircase, indoors and out. The Lodge suits families whose older members are comfortable with stairs. If you have specific mobility questions, just ask and we’ll happily talk through the layout before you book.

For the kids

A pack-and-play and highchair for little ones, a selection of board games and toys, paints and paper for rainy afternoons, a pool table downstairs, a piano and guitar, and 16 acres of private woodland trails to explore.

Gathering around the table

The kitchen is fully stocked for big family meals, with dining for 8. Or take a night off: book a private chef for in-lodge dining (from $125 per person), arrange an in-house massage for the grown-ups, or capture the moment with a professional family photoshoot.
